Qualifications

If you meet the following qualifications, then we are a great fit for each other:

  • Meet all Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications (which includes, but are not limited to, FM CSR part 391)
  • Have a valid Commercial Driver’s License with proper endorsements in the state of your residence and have no current license suspension or revocation.
  • No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months.
  • Have your own truck(s) & Trailer?
  • Have no preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within three years.
  • No convictions for a “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” within the last three (3) years. (See FMCSR parts 382,391,392 and 397) A “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” includes the following:
    • Excessive speeding, involving any single offense for any speed of 15 m.p.h. or more above the posted speed limit.
    • In violation of a State or local law or ordinance restricting or prohibiting the use of a hand-held mobile device while driving.
    • Violating a State or local law or ordinance prohibiting texting while driving a motor vehicle
    • No DUI violation or possessions violation
    • Reckless driving, as defined by state or local law or regulation, including but not limited to the offense of driving a motor vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property.
    • Have no improper or erratic lane changes.
    • Don’t follow the vehicle ahead too closely.
    • Avoid driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
